At Celest.Science, we believe climate change is not just a long-term issue but a pressing challenge today.
Extreme weather events—floods in Valencia, extreme heat in the U.S., and megafires in LA—are clear evidence.
We see the lack of large-scale adaptation as a result of underestimated risks and insufficient information.
Sharing this vision, Léo and Pierre founded Celest.Science in March 2023. A decade earlier, Pierre, a renowned Climate and Data Science professor at Columbia and a pioneer in AI for climate, supervised Léo’s PhD in hydrology. In the meantime, Léo launched his first successful company, Enerfip, in 2014.
